Seahorses and Memories

I promised to share my new fabric collection on a recent post, Seahorse Memories Inspiration, when the fabric arrived on the new Kona Cotton fabric. I used the cotton fabric with my little fish design as the outer frame.  That's Simone Seahorse swimming on a sea of French script in Tiffany blue.

Here's Samantha and her School of Fish.  Looks like a lesson is about to begin.  I found the cutest video of Seahorse Inspiration.

My daughter Ashley on her magical seahorse.  I photographed the collection on an inspiration board I covered in French script in creamsicle.  I thought it would be a nice contrast.

I will have more to share, I am still photographing them and adding the listings to French Script on etsy.  I just got back some more fabric printed on the new Kona Cotton.  I ordered the Ooh La Lah Pink Dress.

I'll be busy today photographing the rest of the Seahorse and Sea Creature collection.  I thought of a nice way to organize and store my collections.  I will share it in a tutorial soon.

A new fabric collection of Seahorse fun

A SCHOOL OF FISH
It's funny when an idea begins, like a theme or a prompt,

ASHLEY AND HER MAGICAL SEAHORSE, NAMED DITSY
it will take you along on an adventure...

SAMANTHA's SCHOOL OF FISH
in design.

ASHLEY AND HER MAGICAL SEAHORSE
So, when some ideas began to visit about seahorses and my girls when they were little,

PRINCESS ASHLEY AND THE MAGICAL SEAHORSES
I followed along.

SEAHORSE RACE

I just ordered a swatch sampler of my new fabric collection on Spoonflower called  Seahorses and Sea Creatures.  Did you know that Simone Seahorse loves to swim in a sea of Tiffany Blue French Script?

When the collection sample arrives, I will post how it prints on fabric.  Walking through memories of when my girls were little and putting them on fabric is such a delight. These fabrics will be available for sale soon on my Spoonflower shop and French Script on Etsy.

Oh yes the song, Simone just loves this music.

Little Girl Inspiration

Isn't this lovely?  Judy Ginns makes these wonderful creations, and she used my fabric for the beautiful designs on this post.  Squeal!!!!!  Judy lives in Queensland and sells her designs at a beautiful little shop:

Footprints on the Beach, in Mooloolaba, Queensland.

I love the names in Australia, especially Queensland.  They are so charming.  Judy's creations don't often make it to the web site, because they are sold right away.  I am not surprised.

I met Judy when she first purchased some of my fabric.

Then, she was so kind to send me photographs of her creations.  You might remember the post I wrote a while back, called Little Girl Inspiration.

Now she has sent me these photographs, and I am thrilled at what she creates using my fabric.

sigh.  this one and the Little Ballerina were printed in Cotton Voile.

Just look what she did with my Alice in Wonderland fabric.

Judy inspires me.  I printed these photographs out and put them on my inspiration board.

I just sent Judy another parcel of fabric, and I can't wait to see what she creates with these.  Now I am so inspired that I am on a whirlwind creative spree.  I am working on some new little girl designs because of her inspiration.
